About ARTHEN

ARTHEN is a small clothing label based in Bangkok.

We make few things, slowly. Each release is one silhouette developed over months with a two-person sewing workshop on Charoen Krung Road, using fabric milled to our own weight specification in Samut Prakan. Nothing is mass-produced; most pieces are made to order through pre-order drops.

Why pre-order

Making to order means we never over-produce, never dump unsold stock, and can put the budget into fabric and construction instead of warehousing. You wait a little longer; you get a garment that was made because you asked for it.

The name

Varuna — the first trouser — borrows its name from the god of water and oaths. A reminder to keep promises: about materials, about timelines, about refunds when a batch does not happen.
